You lied and I deserved it
How sadly hopeless is it that
You fill my mind with this empty irrelevant nothingness
This false sense of security
These warm embraces that mean literally nothing
To you
And I guess I told you they meant shit to me too
But it was all a lie and I know
How were you supposed to guess through my shielded eyes that
I'm left hopelessly loving you
And the way my name danced on your toungue
Will echo through my brain as you caress her
And the places you touched me will haunt me at night
Will stop me from dreaming and take away anything I look forward to because
I'm a piece of trash
I'm worth nothing I know
And to you I am especially irrelevant
And this becomes prevalent when her
Lips shape into
"I love you too"
But I'm happy you're happy with her
Even though you seemed happier with me
Maybe you whisper lies about
How you never stopped loving
Her
As well
As
Me
And maybe I'm just sand that falls through the cracks of your mind
And maybe I'm so insignificant that
If I stopped chasing you all together
My existence would
Become
Fake
And barely a memory.
So behold her beauty while I quietly destroy myself
Admire her strength while I crumble and splinter
Make memories with her that
Quite like an old video camera
Will tape over any you had with me
Because the second I leave
I know
You forget
