You Lost You

You said you'd always be there

but now you don't even care.

I have no no idea who you've become

and it's not just me you walked away from.

It's yourself you gave away

just so they would stay.

They've killed your self esteem

and now you've neglected your heart and dreams.

You completely changed your direction

in order to gain the world's affection.

So tell me, how does it feel to give up who you where

just to become what the world prefers?
