You Love Me?

You're not like all the other ones,

you know me best. I'm sure.

Every moment I spend with you,

I want you even more.

Whenever we talk,

you somehow make me smile.

All our long walks,

we end up walking a mile.

Love is "serious," they all say,

and they think that will make me want to run away?

You liked me in 9th grade,

I wonder if your feelings went away.

I think about you all the time.

I just want the ability to call you mine.
