You Loved Me

You said you loved me You said I was the only one You said our love was meant to be And that nothing could make it come undone I believed your words I returned them full heartedly I lived and breathed off those simple lines Because you seemed to mean everything to me Now all I can look back and say is how stupid could I be… You broke me down You lied to me You left me there to drown In my own tears and misery You said you didn’t love her.. That you only loved me It kills now to stand here and see You standing there by her side And feed her those same lines you fed me Now I only wonder Will you break her the same way you did me Or does she really have something better That makes you truly love her more More than you ever could love me I know I cant go on wishing Our heart was still mine Even though I keep trying To forget, cant forget your touch and love that was so divine Those few simple words That meant so much to me Cant forget all those times You said you loved me…
