You loved me, despite what
You loved me, despite what I put you through.
I hate that I can't trust you, why stay near?
I still loved every flaw it's like you knew.
Yet, despite your flaws, I'm surprised I'm here.
Your love left me in tears on the cold floor.
You flipped the script and decided to leave.
And you packed up and headed for the door.
You knew that this pain would cause me to grieve.
You fully consume my mind every day.
Forever in the caverns of my heart.
And I hate that I had driven you away.
I wish we didn't have to split apart.
Of all the emotions I chose to feel.
Love was scariest and hardest to heal.
