You Make Me, Me

My best friend knows me

And everything that is going on.

She doesn’t judge me, she motivates me.

She keeps my secrets

Even though they may be worth telling.

She lets me be who I am

And I let her do the same.

We have a sense of humor

That is one of a kind.

She knows what I like

And what I don’t.

We have ups

And we sure have downs.

But how we handle it

Is what brings us closer.

But the most important thing

Is what each of us brings to the friendship.

Never had someone that I can be

Completely ridiculous around.

That kind of friend is hard to find

And I’m glad I found her.

If you’re wondering who I learn from

It was from her.

She made me

Me.
