You Make Me Wet

You make me wet.

Yes- you make me wet

With tears from my eyes

After you cause a stir in my emotions.

You tell me it's all my fault. My fault!

My fault?

That I caused the problems

That I created the distrust

That I'm the one that crushed your fragile, senstitive heart and that is why I deserve this.

Yes- you make me wet.

And that is why I left.

When you tell me you miss my touch

Is it because you miss me or the thought of me?

Was it even me you wanted all along or just a body to call yours?

A body to be your shrink because you refused to get help.

A bod to be a listening ear because you already pushed everyone else away.

A body to be your life coach because you lack any motivation to better yourself.

A body to stick yourself into whenever you decided because at least you had my body in your control,

Contol- yes.

That's what our love became.

Before this- you made me wet

On my hands and knees

You made me ache in the depths of my insides

Within crevices that shouldn't have been touched unless with a delicate hand.

And the corners of my soul- never disturbed until you wrangled my body and caressed my mind using your unknown powers on me.

You awoke a compelling force. One that yearned for you- your attractive Voice, your evocative Scent, your enticing Presence, and lustful Desire.

Demeaning Forces that make me feel so resilient and yet, are so destructive.

And I suppose that was love.

Or what I thought love was to be.

But love can come in many shapes and forms.

The love I know now is gentle and patient and kind.

This love is endearing and I mustn't resist any longer because the promise of a hopeful companion is far greater than the fear of ruination.

This is the way of the universe- the way love is destined to be.

I am drawn to you

And your kind words and sweet gestures and selfess, unconditional love.

It is you I crave. It is you I carry.

It is you who makes me wet.
