You Must Go Before It's Too Late
Why would it matter at this point?
The damage is done.
All that's left for you is to realize that there's nothing here that you could possibly want.
So go now, before I ruin you too.
The darkness is captivating,
and I don't want to invite you,
and the worst part is that I can't control it.
I am alone.
Do not feel the need to stay.
I've done it long enough.
Even on worse days.
You can go and be happy,
for I am sorry to put that on hold.
I just saw this hope in you,
but I've realized I'm better at being alone.
Yes I'll miss you and yes I won't sleep, but knowing you're better off,
will make me happier,
and put me at ease,
hopefully.
I wish things would be different,
but who was I to think.
A girl like me,
broken and bruised,
could never succeed,
with a guy as mighty and bold as you.
I wish the best of all for you.
I just can't stick around here any longer,
knowing the hurt I am proned to cause you.
