You must understand.
Occasionaly
I think of vobrant sunsewts
And Labrador puppies
Bouding over green backyards.
Every now and then
I think of pure daisies
Blending with white clouds
Against deep ocean blue skies.
Sometimes
I think of soft kissing,
Loving passionately in
The back of a cramped car.
But often,
I don't think; the darkness swells
When it overcomes everything else
I cannot think of these things.
