With You - My Dedication to Poetry

An anonymous quote given to thought Inability to face reality So words are said in ways only the strong can decipher Weakness? No. It’s the want to portray more with less The want to make your thoughts dance in someone else’s To make you inquiries reach deep into someone and pull out a thinker You are my strength The hand that wipe the regret from my face The constant melodic reminder that I am more That with you, shyness is slowly unlaced I am more I am more We are more than words unsaid We are the beat of a thousand hearts The sparks of a thousand brains The tears stained into the collar of your shirt The laughs that spark thunder With poetry, more can be conquered So with you I will learn to conquer myself
