You Need Me

Hi, I'm very social, I'm sure you know me I'm really easy to find, and usually come with a fee I've made a lot of friends, though many end fast But forget all that negative talk, that's all in the past I met a new friend recently; His name is David He spends so much time with me, you would think were related When David comes home from a bad day at work I'm always there, waiting on him with a smirk C'mon David, I'm waiting out here for you to see You're pissed David, you need to take more of me Who gives a shit what your wife and child thinks They never understood you, now take another drink I'll always stay here, I'm not going anywhere Put me to your lips when you think life isn't fair David, you and I were always meant to be I make you feel better, you know you need me ............................................................................................... I'm not limited to one, I can make you feel better too If you feel depressed, you already know what to do Don't worry I come in all types of different flavors So any time you're with me, is a time you can savor I'm usually bitter, but sometimes I can be sweet I'm always social, so I can't wait for us to meet I meet teenage kids, who try to fit with the crew And if we meet before you drive, I will affect you And I know people say to take me in moderation But how can you when I give you that buzzing sensation I'm at your nearest party, come and have a blast Forget about the future, make sure this time lasts I know that I can relieve you of all your sorrows I'm a bitch tho, I'll make you feel like shit tomorrow Some say I'm evil, do you believe that to be true Is it because of all the ways that I can damage you Is it because of all of the lives that I have claimed Is it because of all of the families I've put to shame Speaking of families, let's check in with David Oh damn, look at the mess that I've created Through a fit of rage looks like David's life is done Oh well, sucks for him, let's go have some more fun I can influence anybody I want, now do you see And just like them, I'm sure one day you'll need me You can't get rid of me, my influence will never end And hopefully one day you can also be my best friend
