you never learned how to love.
Because you never learned how to love, I had to grow up believing you never loved me.
And maybe you did love me and had a terrible way of showing it.
Maybe you didn’t need me, and maybe I needed you.
I don't think you meant to hurt me,
And maybe you were just hurting yourself.
Maybe it hurts because your absence was downing in rooms full of strangers.
Maybe, it wasn’t my fault,
It wasn’t my fault that you were my father, not my dad.
