For You (Part 2)

You’re Wonderful,

You probably don’t believe that is a proper introduction

So I will start over,

Hi, you’re wonderful,

Full of life and uniqueness

Wonder what fool would throw away the chance to be with you,

And they always say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure,

But for you that needs to be reworded,

One man’s lost treasure is another man’s perfection

Because perfection is the only way to actually describe you,

And I don’t say the things that I say just to say them

Because that would make it feel like I’m lying to you,

And the only lie I would ever tell you

Is that I would want to live a life without you,

A life without you is a life without me

Because you’re that filling that makes me complete

And that’s love,

Love that I want to show you every day,

The same love that 70 years down the road we will still have,

That tell me how you actually feel love,

That I don’t want anybody but you love,

That will you spend the rest of your life with me love,

That will you marry me love,

And call me crazy that I want this love with you

Since they say that love can be crazy,

But know that what I say I actually mean,

And I’m sitting in this math class and all I see is these numbers

But the only numbers I care about are the

Years we spend our life together,

Months I wait for our anniversary,

Days I go without seeing you,

Hours since I last heard your voice,

Minutes since I got your last text,

And seconds since you’ve been off my mind,

Zero,

Zero seconds because from the time I wake up until the time I go to sleep,

You are on my mind

And the only equation I know in math is 1+1,

The answer is You and I

Because two doesn’t describe us

Because when we are together I feel like one

One,

You are my number one,

My one and only,

That one every other guy would kill to have

You are the one,

For you I would wait a million years,

For you I’d do everything to make you happy,

For you I’d be the greatest guy you thought you never deserved,

But you just have to let me,

So for you I’d ignore this whole Calculus class just to write you a poem,

Because you are magnificent to everyone else,

But to me you are perfect,

So I do all the things I do

Because I want to show you I love you.
