You Point the Way
All my life, it's been
You point the way, I'll get us there.
I'll struggle through,
and reach the goal.
I can overcome any obstacle,
but don't know where to start.
Today, I take the wheel.
I don't know where I'll end up,
Perhaps a doctor, chef or poet.
My pursuit is my path.
You can give your advice,
You can decry my choice,
But now I point the way.
