You Raise Me Up

Throughout the years I've fallen and stumbled Into waiting arms to lift me once more. The years go on and ever more humbled Am I, ever more grateful to my core. To the family who have supported And to friends who have saved my sanity. I've never had reason yo feel shorted Though, I've sometimes had reason for profanity. You helped to teach me morals and values, The alphabet and to count my numbers. I have held no reasons to be shallow Singing a lullaby into slumber. Thank you so much for all you did To help me grow from a curious kid.
