You Said


You said you didn’t know who you were, But you’ve had longer than I to find out. You said you were insecure right now, But I’m the one who’s supposed to be. You said you were just starting to be happy, But I thought you were happy with me. You said you were okay, But you didn’t sound okay when they called. You said I could do anything, But when you said no when I told you what I wanted. You said you were forgiving, But you hold a grudge like no one else. You said you were proud of me, But you tore me apart.

any lies that was said. the truth will come to light sad poem as i read it better poem if you were to recite it in an open mic venue build off more of this idea and polish it
