You Said
You said you loved me
You said you'd wait for me
You said if you ever hurt me
you'd beat yourself up
You asked me to homecoming
You kissed me on the cheek
You danced with me
You gave me my first kiss
Over fall break,
you texted me everyday
I told all my friends
how awesome you were
At band, you ate lunch with me
When my mom didn't come
you stayed with me
so I wouldn't be lonely
What happened?
School starts back up
and we barely talk
No matter how much I'm around you
we barely talk
My friend asked you
if you still liked me
and you said you did
so what happened?
I finally stepped out of my boundry
and asked if I was allowed to date
but when I told you
you ignored me and walked away
I don't get it
Was everything you said a lie?
You said you loved me
You said you'd wait for me
You said if you ever hurt me
you'd beat youself up
What happened?
