You Said

You said you loved me,
You said you cared,
You said that you would always be there.

You said that I was the only one,
You said that I was the only one fore you.

You said that we would be in love,
You said that one day we would be married,
You said that we would be together forever.

You said you loved me,
You said you cared.

You said I was your Summer Girl,
You said you would never hurt me.

You said your love was deep as the sea,
You said your love will always be for me.

You said that you would be there for me,
You said you would care about my feelings.

What you said now I know is not true,
What you said made our love end.

What you said hurt me,
What you said made me cry.

What you said I never forget,
What you said made me close inside.

Now a long time has passed and we met,
For the first time after what was said.

That pain never went away,
That pain did not go away.

It still hurts,
It hurts because I trusted what you said.
