You saved me

No one grows up in a perfect setting

One may have worse than others

I look back to see the darkness of my past

The fights every night

The cigarette smoke consuming my senses

And I look forward to see you

The one who carried me over water puddles

The one who put a bandage on my knee when it got scraped

The one who was there to hold me while I cried

The one who made my horrible past seem like a mountain in the distance

You made me feel like I was wanted

You made me want to have better in my life

You gave me the inspiration to make my dreams come true

You are my biggest inspiration

You saved me
