You Scare Me

You scare me.

I´m afraid to talk to you

Afraid of what I might give

And what I might get back

You scare me.

I´m afraid to stand with you

You stand too confident

Too happy

Too real

I cannot be the reason to take that away

I cannot break you

I am afraid

Because of you

You scare me out of being there

So I won´t

I will not talk

I will not stand

Instead

I will hide

In the shadows

Away from my biggest fear

You

I write for the same reason you do, to feel.
