You Smiled


Raising my head, There you were, As vivid as I remember, That tranquil mid-December. The concrete soft, And the wind blew still, Subtle was the moment, until. You smiled. Graceful and in cheer With open arms you came near Stood were your feet and then There it was you smiled again. Locking eyes and marking lips, Gallantly holding your hips, You smiled once more And Then I knew This love we have is forever TRUE.
