You Smiled

You smiled the first time you looked at me, You smiled at the first word I said, You smiled at the first step I took, You smiled. You smiled at the first ball I threw to you, You smiled at the first balled I hit to you, You smiled at the first ball I passed to you, You smiled. You smiled the day I made the team, You smiled the night I scored my first goal, You smiled the day I drove to school, You smiled. You smiled at my graduation, You smiled at my college acceptance, You smiled at my first college game, You smiled. Watching me grow up isn't easy, but I love to see you smile.
