You Take Care

Even when I’m good

You know the bad in me

The troubles inside

That I can’t see

You take care

You hold on

Search for me everywhere

When I’m afraid to move on

You’re by my side

You comfort me

Your arms are open wide

To them I flee

When troubles come

I fall on my knee

Your will be done

Is what I plea

I don’t understand

Your great plans

But I see your healing hand

That helps me to stand

You are my strength

When I am weak

Let my life give thanks

For it is you I seek

Jon Luke

My poems are written about the good, the bad, everything in between, mostly influenced by my life. If mountain high or valley low, there is always something that drives me, something that keeps me going. As you read my poems you will discover that they are all connected. I hope you will enjoy reading them.
