You There

Ginger spines

Flaky sighs

Powerless,

You glossy-eyed

Creature.

I saw you there,

In the crevices of my dreams

Breathless, in a pool of gems

Lost within the carefree

Sparkling hair and buoyant mind

Untouched by time

This wooly embrace

Makes things alright

To leave.
