In You There Is a Future

I feel like I lost myself when you spoke.

You captivated my mind.

Invaded my senses.

I didn't have to fight my thoughts,

All my brain could conjure up were:

Pictures of you

Thoughts of the future

Hopes of a heart that would no longer be just my own.

I fell for the delicatness of your words.

The subtle intakes of shaky breathes.

I feel like I gaines a home in the end.
