You Want To Watch This Torture?
Televison has gotten so bad recently that it's really hard to believe
I am so sick to death of seeing so many programs of reality TV
It really doesn't matter what show it is, it's all different shades of the same
Overindulgent and aggresive people throwing themselves out there with no shame
Your success was the perfect storm of a lot of different elements coming together
And for us from that day on, it has been nothing but stormy weather
You go after each other on your shows with so much venom and malice
I guess that is what you have to do when you don't have any talent
You all know how to market and sell your brand
But your empire is not etched in stone, it's only scratched in sand
I wish a big wave could come along and wash all of you people away
But there is enough people out there that will make sure you are here to stay
Your success in the entertainment industry really boggles my mind
You just give it to us the same way, time after time
I have never seen any of you once try to reinvnet yourselves
I have seen more creativity and ingenuity in a child that is twelve
What do you need writers for, why bother even writing a script?
You will make things up as you go along, hell, you will just wing it
There is no need to have a crew to build a set, you will just use your enormous house
If you need to shoot on location, you will just take over some unfortuante town
I don't mean to sound old, out of touch and bitter
But television was so much better when we still had Carroll O'Connor and John Ritter
I am not the least bit interested in watching a show about a matriarch and her daughters
I dont't understand why You Want To Watch This Torture?
