You were the biggest disappointment of all

If you came back to me

I'd like to think I'd turn you away
And give you the same cold shoulder that you gave me
Slam the door in your face and tell you I don't need you
But I don't know if I could do that
Because although you burned down the wood holding my insides together like a house
The termites beat you to it
So I'd end up blaming the broken structure
Rather than your matches
