You were the first.The

You were the first.

The first I thought I may possibly have a chance with . . .

Maybe.

The way you talked to me was out of a book.

The way you looked at me was out of a movie.

My whole purpose was to win you over.

I let you do everything

Hoping I may get something in return.

In the end, you got what you wanted.

You took your pleasure,

But left me empty.

Intimacy will never again feel intimate.

Love will never feel lovely.

I can never look at a guy without seeing what you became.

But you talk like a book, and look like a movie at every girl.

Do you even remember what you did at all?

Do you even remember me?

Because when I see you walking down the hall

You refuse to acknowledge me.

A reminder I’m not worthy of even a glance;

A reminder I can only blame myself.
