you were my death

my head gets so confused for you were everything i thought was saving me but instead you were the death of me you were like poison through my veins an addiction i can't break why did i not see that you were vain why did i not see that you were a lucifer trying to bring me down to hell it was because of you that i have fell oh how you have made me withered rose gasping for air the way you have chiseled away at my heart as if your hand was a bloody dagger itself oh how you killed me
