You Were On My Mind
Ephesians 1:4-8 ~ "Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love, he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight."
When I knelt down to pray to God the Father in heaven, you were on my mind.
When I had a crown of thorns struck on my head, 7-inch nails driven through my hands and feet.
When I hung on the cross with the inscription written - The King of the Jews - at Calvary's hill, and a spear pierced my side.
When I said, "Father, forgive them for they don't know what they are doing."
When the people shouted, saying - "He saved others, let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the chosen one."
Luke 23:39-43 ~ "One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, "Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us! But the other rebuked him, saying, "Do you not fear God since you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due rewards of our deeds; but this man did nothing wrong. And he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today I will be with me in Paradise."
Even through all of that, you were on my mind.
