Since You Were Wondering

Why do I write?

Writing is an escape

A place I go that no one knows

Writing is my therapy

when no one wants to listen

Its the only thing that cares for me

Writing helps me live

It helps me through what

no one had time to give

See you don't understand

all the things I've been through

Writing is the only thing I could do

Writing is the only thing that understood

Writing is the only thing that knows my good

Writing is always there when I need something to turn to

Writing is a joy I would never want to undo

Writing is a gift I couldn't think more of

Writing is a gift, my first real true love
