YOU WISH YOU KNEW

No one understands the pain you go through –

The pain you hide, the pain you never show.

The pain was bullets in your precious soul

But, no one dared to ask if you’re okay.

They always judge what is in the outside

But, I think your scars are so beautiful.

They’re the story tellers of your story.

The story you’re trying hard to cover.

You walk down the hall with your head held high

Not caring about a word someone says.

Someone like you has courage and patience –

Someone that has pride in what they have done.
