You Would

If I took my things and moved away,

Would you live to see another day?

If I were to flee from here and run,

Would it be the day your life was done?

Would you pack your things and book a plane?

Would you run so that your muscles strain?

Would you tell me my love’s not in vain,

If I took my things and moved away?

My name is Maddie Starks. I love creative writing, and I live in Greenville, South Carolina. When I'm not writing poetry, I spend my time playing the guitar and singing. I enjoy writing poems that display the intrinsic value that words naturally hold. As; you read through my poetry, I'd like to emphasize the difference between the author and the narrator :)
