To: You, From: You

I hope you one day find a way to heal

from the constant pain

the agonizing heartbreak

the flood of uncontrollable emotions

and the loss you feel so strongly.

you're drowning.

every ounce of pain you feel

sends you farther and farther

into the dark, seemingly unescapable

abyss

I hope one day you can reach the surface once again

I hope one day you see the world for what it has to offer

You are not and will not be defined by your pain.

You deserve to be happy again

more than you allow yourself to know

so please,

come back up

I know you're desperate for air.
