You'd Do It For Me Too

Today is one of those days where you’re overcome,

Overcome with the depression and sadness you can’t seem to get away from.

Today you won’t be able to make yourself food,

You won’t drink, and you’ll refuse to move,

So I’ll do it for you,

Because I love you.

Tomorrow you’ll be soaring in the clouds,

You’ll be so high, you can’t see the ground.

You won’t be able to tether yourself down,

Like you’re afraid you’re going to drown.

So I’ll do it for you,

Because I love you.

Sometimes, you’re just lazy.

Sometimes, you’re nothing short of absolute crazy.

And on those days where everything seems kinda hazy,

And you can’t function through your own idiocracy,

I’ll do it for you,

Because I love you.

You tell me how difficult it is to love you,

How sorry you are for every time you withdrew.

But I know this is something we are going to get through,

Because you’re the only one I’ve ever been able to stick to.

So when you don’t believe, I’ll do it for you.

Because I love you.
