You'll be okay Awesome

I think people are awesome

Now you might be thinking of your worst enemy

And saying no that's impossible

But really it's not and I'll tell you just how people are awesome

Take me for an example

I wasn't the friendliest person but I wasn't the worst

And you could tell I had potential

And that I wasn't mental

But I was going through some things

And I even had low self-esteem

One day this guy saw all that me

He sat me down and told me how he used to be

He told me that I was awesome and unique

At the time that's something I didn't believe

But as I sat there and thought about what he had said to me

I realized I could be anything I wanted to be

And honestly that's when I became awesome

Now it's time I share my awesome with you

There are so many personal meanings of the word awesome

One might say it's someone who blossoms

Or someone who is daring

Perhaps even caring

Maybe inspiring

Or something worth admiring

What ever your definition of awesome is today

Use it in each in every way

Like the guy who helped me

When I didn't think I could stand on my feet

Help someone along the way

Who might be having a really bad day

And if you are that person I'll use my awesome to help you

In hopes that's you'll be able to pull through

I don't know your situation and I don't need to

But I do know you have awesome in you

It doesn't matter what obstacle has come your way

Just keep your head up because there'll be a brighter day

You can be even more awesome today

And don't say you can't because you're already someone who blossoms

Just promise yourself to be a little more daring and even more caring

So you'll do something inspiring that will keep people admiring

See people are awesome and that includes you too
