You'll be sorry


 

He wasn’t the first, and wouldn’t be the last.

Once again I put my heart on the line.

I didn’t think about what you would go through,

I wanted him, I needed him.

 

Within two weeks I was alone again,

With the heart I gave away, returned broken.

I’m sorry I was careless, sorry I was ruthless.

I didn’t mean to throw you away, but then again

He wasn’t my first and won’t be my last.
