You'll Never Know

They used to call me Angel,

How did it all change?

Well I started liking boys

and had rebellious ways.

I would lie and hide things

that weren't meant to be kept.

I would stay up all night,

man I wish I would've slept.

The stories I have told,

were 100% true.

I believe them, yes,

but the question is, do you?

The truth about me,

well no one really knows.

To be happy, or to be depressed,

looks like I already chose.

My life is like a firework,

beautiful and exciting.

But of course there's a downside,

painful and freightening.

I know who I want to be,

I know what I want to do.

But when it comes right down to it,

I just might not have a clue.

You say you understand,

I highly doubt it.

Walk a mile in my shoes

but they might not fit.

Once you feel the pain and hurt

that's bundled inside,

all you would want to do

is go run and hide.

Away from the memories,

away from the regret.

But remember something,

you will Never Forget.
