You'll Notice Me Searching

I am searching.

Fighting hard to change my perspective,

But what am I searching for?

Have I dug deep enough yet?

Just trying to notice

Something...

Something new,

Something missed,

Something different,

Some unusual realization or discovery.

Something hidden or out of place,

Something that stands out in the crowd,

Trying so hard to blend right in.

Yet, I keep coming up empty-handed.

This pattern has not broken,

No piece has disappeared,

Everything still looks all in order.

Where is that something I am so desparately searching for?

Has it already been found?

Could it possibly be within me?

I deeply wish that I could notice-

Something...

Something that leads me in the right direction,

Something that can help fill in the gaps,

Something surprising, that leaves my mouth hanging wide open.

Something- MORE...

Well someday, at the right time,

I hope to find that something I am still searching for.
