You&Me

You & Me

Looking in the mirror, I see you, the me that use to be

The memories of not wanting to be you

You were the people I saw, the people I judged, people that use to be me

The thought that I could be you was never there

I turned into you, that you I avoided

That you I was scared of

Those promises broken

Those rules broken

Those people broken

Broken pieces that brought me to this

Starring back at you

The memories of being me

Now the only thought I think is

How getting back to me

Is going to be as easy as it was to get to this point

It harder to get back to me

Than it was to get to you

The longer I think

The further I get

The further I get

The harder it becomes to get back to me

And away from you
