Young and Dumb

when your young you do all kinds of dumb things

you live and you love

you forgive and you forget

some people aren't that lucky to love, forgive or forget

some girls sacrifice everything they are selfishly willing to give

to someone who won't give anything in return

some boys chase after the wrong people

who end up leading them in the wrong directions

when your young you do all kinds of dumb things

you end up falling in love with the boy who broke your phone during gym

he ends up getting shot for the guy who took his wallet the other day

she ends up throwing up because she can't stand eating anymore

those two shy girls you see at school just got arrested for stealing

the girls who sits in the corner in math class just bought drugs in the alley

if you focus on all the bad things in your life

how will you ever live?

when your young you do all kinds of dumb things
