Young Inspiration

The end of the day brings great joy

As I see a little girl holding her stuffed toy

Two of the others smile and cheer

As they know, now I am here

I give big hugs and a smile

The students know I am here for only a little while.

We make the most of our day

We run and talk, and also play

Too soon it's time to say goodbye

I feel as if I may cry

We leave the classroom and head home

I remind the kids they are never alone

These kids I work with are my inspiration

They fill me with hope and determination
