Young Love

So many nights I held your jacket near

Fighting and holding back every single tear

Though, truth be told I had no reason to cry or grief

I hurt myself

My hearts sword being let from it’s own sheath

I love in terror for the fear you’ve moved on

It’s come to the point

All I do is drown in a sea of songs

Now I’ve lost interest

My feelings on death row

I think back to amazing times

Our forbidden dances that lasted until our feet couldn't move

Now lost and forgotten

It doesn’t matter

I don’t care

It’s your life

You're free to roam anywhere

Just please, In the back of your mind

Remember

Im still here.
