A young nigga from the start
Young life really that easy
For a young nigga that thinks everything is easy
Swimming through them pools full of pain
Nobody sees the truth that lay within
Mom locked up before i reached the age of ten
Daddy dead no father figure
2 brothers gone from a young lil nigga
Month after month a nigga still thinking
Bout that life he was drawn to without even thinking
2 twins both blood ain't had a clue
Between the struggle of that gang life or they own too
One athletic one got the brains
Which one gonna end up dead first flooded by them puddles full of pain
Thinking bout life had a nigga thinking
When was the last time you seen the preacher preaching?
Remember when grandma beat us damn hard
Scars on our back and tools in the yard
Working us to death using that hard labor
As a symbol for hope, truth, and trust for a young teenager
Going up against my own blood just ain't what i'm supposed to do
Fighting here fighting there blood bath in the yard
lights and sirens my future from a far
Handcuffs on my wrist my future in a jar
All bottled up and thrown way far beyond
But my faith my heart and my turst is what i lost
So fuck ya'll niggas who thought i couldn't do better than my best
Ya'll the niggas who lost
yea i lost everything sitting on this street
Clothles on my back and shoes on my feet
All my decisions i made gonna come back against me
I guess thats what happens when a young nigga came from the start
