Young Not Free

I am young but I am not free,

many of you are like me,

I get soap on my tongue,

when I do something wrong.

I still have my life to live,

so I can prove them wrong,

let me keep living my journey strong.

I dont know my future,

but I have lived my past,

and with that,

I will put up my large mast,

because my ship is sailing,

I’m never failing,

but this is all I ask.

Don’t judge,

don’t hate,

appreciate,

todays date,

because God could’ve took you a long time ago,

for reasons only he may know.

We are young but we are not free,

united we stand,

for our dear homeland,

for freedom for you and me.
