From the Young to the Old
You have to heal in order to feel
You have to wait to reach the gate
It takes time for reason and rhyme
But you have to wait, I can relate
All of the pain, I know the game
You feel alone, cut to the bone
It’s okay to cry, don’t need to try
To hold it in, just let it begin
Let it come out, whatever about
It’s alright to be cut down like a tree
But when you fall do not withdraw
Into the tears, you know your fears
But also your strength, so mighty and great
So go to that place, so gentle with grace
The power you hold, so ample and bold
Will conquer them all, tear down the wall
Yes it is true, in all that we do
There’s evil out there, everywhere
But take all your life, the good and the strife
Live it for you, in nothing but truth
Get rid of your fears, they bring only tears
Live life to the full, from the young to the old.
