a young one's interest

a long while ago, in the sixth grade

televison shows were my personal escape.

crime shows were the theme of choice,

not so typical of a young teen.

if it were not for that show, i'd be not where I am today,

getting ready to attend the school of my dreams.

to be like those I admired in shows, to this day.

putting away criminals with the ways of science.
