Like Young Wendy

When I was young the days were calm

Now those days are gone

Soft and sane with concrete perspective

though it was naive cerebral conception

What I learned:

It is what it is

What I thought:

It's what the teacher said

Mom said no,

that's right that's wrong

I was there to ride along

Season's have changed, and I'm no longer sane

It's sad to say, my perspective has rearranged

I can no longer live, I can no longer trust

'cause without my sanity, I have no pixie dust

I miss the days when I was young

When I could fly over hills, and under the sun

Image result for now i understand why peter didn't want to grow up
