In Your Arms
In your arms, the world grows still,
Like moonlight dancing on a hill.
A quiet peace, a breath, a beat—
My heart finds rhythm when we meet.
Your smile, a spark that lights my skies,
The safest place: your steady eyes.
You hold my storms with calm so true,
No one else feels quite like you.
We speak in glances, soft and slow,
Like rivers learning how to flow.
Your laughter paints the air I breathe,
A melody I’ll never leave.
You know the words I never say,
You read my heart in your own way.
You’ve seen me strong, and seen me break,
And loved me still—for who I am, not what I fake.
Every touch, a whispered vow,
No need to ask, just here and now.
You ground me when I start to fall,
And make the smallest moment feel tall.
The late night talks, the silly fights,
The tangled sheets, the morning light.
The way you pull me in so close—
Of all life’s gifts, I love you most.
You’re the calm in my chaos, the light in my dark,
The steady flame, the kindling spark.
No need for diamonds, gold, or fame—
Just hearing you softly say my name.
So here’s my heart, no bow, no band,
Just take it gently in your hand.
And know that through each day anew,
I’ll always find my way to you.
