Your arms

Again and again I find myself coming back to your arms

They hold me with such purpose and gratitude

with such urgency and love

You hold me as if you think I will run away

and you do not wish to let me go

Again and again I find myself coming back to your arms

placing your hands in mine

whispering to you even though nobody is around

professing my love over and over

so you never forget

Again and again I find myself coming back to your arms

embracing me for solace, for comfort

embracing me so that you feel that support and love

feeling that embrace again and again

keeps me coming back endlessly
